Information Systems Management KIT312

Introduction

This unit explores the methods, opportunities and challenges that organisations experience when planning and evaluating ICT. The introduction of new ICT requires an understanding of how to actively manage change to ensure successful implementation and this unit will include tools and techniques to manage that change.

This unit will focus on benefits realisation for the justification and implementation of ICT projects and will provide students with tools that will help justify how the benefits of ICT implementation have alignment with the organisational strategic direction.

Upon the completion of this unit, students will gain an understanding how to critically analyse and communicate the impact of an ICT implementation from an ethical, systems and organisational perspective.
