Embedded Systems KIT406
Hobart, Launceston
Introduction
The unit offers both theoretical and practical approach for students to learn the basic principle of embedded system/Internet of Things (IoT), including architecture, designing, and networking. The unit also covers the principle of how the software interacts with hardware in embedded system/IoT. Students are presented with the foundation of embedded system design by developing a microcontroller-based embedded system application, Arduino. Arduino is an educational open-source computing platform, which contains several types of microcontrollers in the platforms for physical computing. Student will be given the great opportunity to learn about real-world embedded system environment by installing, designing, and managing several modules in Arduino.
