Introduction

This unit extends a student's understanding of the development of applications on mobile ready platforms. To enable a richer experience in understanding the development process the unit will focus on one mobile platform. Emphasis is placed on the processes, tools and frameworks required to develop applications for current mobile devices. Students will work at all stages of the software development life cycle from the pitch through to implementation and evaluation. Students will be required to consider the impact of usability, interface design, and user centeredness in order to develop elegant applications that suit the requirements of users and industry.
