Agricultural Science Honours Thesis B KLA477
Hobart
Introduction
Honours enables students to develop independent research skills, project planning and management skills, high level verbal and written communication skills and subject specific knowledge in their chosen area of specialism.
Students will be permitted to enrol in honours in Agricultural Science provided: (a) they have achieved an adequate standard, normally a credit average in group 3 units, and (b) that a suitable project and supervisor is available. The Honours thesis is to be completed in accordance with the notes and instructions available from the Honours Coordinator. The honours program consists of a research project determined following consultation with the supervisor and approved by the Head of School. Students must prepare a detailed research proposal at an early stage of their project work, prepare a review of relevant literature, present a seminar on the research undertaken and submit a thesis on completion of their project
