Introduction

Provides a deeper understanding of the calculus of real functions, and an introduction to the powerful methods of complex variable theory. Recommended for mathematics majors, and teachers at the upper secondary level. Introduction to real analysis. Sequences. Convergence, limits, Cauchy sequences. Compact sets. Sequences of functions, point-wise and uniform convergence. The complex plane. Complex sequences, limits. Analytic functions. The Cauchy-Riemann equations. Power series. Complex integration. Cauchy's integral theorem.
