Computational Techniques 3 KMA350
Introduction
Fundamental numerical processes for obtaining approximate but useful solutions to mathematical models. Topics include: errors in computations; solution of linear and non-linear equations arising from problems in the physical and biological sciences, commerce and engineering; approximation of functions; numerical integration and differentiation; eigenvalues and eigenvectors with applications to differential equations and optimisation.
