Introduction

This unit exposes students to a detailed examination of the physiology of aquatic organisms, with an emphasis on fish and crustaceans. Development, growth, respiration, osmoregulation excretion, reproduction, endocrinology and sensory physiology are discussed in relation to the effects of natural and artificial environmental changes on physiological processes.
