Introduction to Quantitative Marine Science QMS510

Introduction

The purpose of this unit is to give new students an introduction to the QMS program and to bring all students up to a basic level of specialized computing skill. Students will be taught how to use a widely used programming language (Python) and a well known statistics package (R) to provide basic skills in the use and application of these software packages, especially related to marine problems.
