Introduction
In this unit students will share a story that they have mapped, planned and created either based on an existing story or an original story that carries a theme around Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history, culture and perspectives.
Students will use a mind map and a story plan to develop their ideas and understand the importance of preparation whilst choosing creative medium and narrative approaches to communicate their story. Students will be encouraged to critically reflect on how their story connects whilst engaging in learning experiences that incorporates Aboriginal knowledges and expressions of Aboriginal identity to give voice and agency to prepare students for success at University and beyond .

- Apply the elements of preparation and story mapping to embrace Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives.
- Identify and incorporate the key elements of story telling and narratives into a story plan.
- Share a story with peers to identify connections and expression of Aboriginal Knowledges and identity to give voice and agency.
