Transition Maths covers essential foundation skills and knowledge in mathematics in preparation for a range University degree subjects requiring mathematical thinking including: Accounting, Business, Economics, Geography, Health Science, ICT, Psychology and the Sciences. This unit provides the opportunity to review fundamental mathematical operations and apply them to solve mathematical problems in various contexts. Topics include applications of linear algebra, graphical methods, quadratic equations, indices, exponentials, trigonometry/sequences and series, interpreting data and probability.
