TCotA Forum welcomes all students and members of the public. |
Rebecca Mayo graduated with a BA in Visual Art from the South Australian School of Art in 1992. She completed her final semester in upstate New York (SUNY at Buffalo), then travelled to Scotland where she worked as a studio technician at Edinburgh Printmakers' Workshop between 1993 and 1994.
In 2000 she received First Class Honours (Printmaking) from the Department of Fine Art at RMIT where she now teaches screenprinting to undergraduates.
Rebecca’s art practice extends beyond screenprinting to objects, books and other printmaking and digital processes. Science, ecology, history, plants, stories, families and their relationships to each other, to art and to culture, inform her work.
Rebecca's work is held in numerous collections including Artbank and the National Gallery of Australia. She is curator of The Dolls House, a small not-for-profit gallery space.
