Artfully Queer 2019

Are we there yet?

Artfully Queer, now in its 14th year, is an exhibition produced by TasPride Inc to showcase and foster the creative talents of LGBTIQ Tasmanian's. The curator, Phoebe Adams has invited a selection of performative artists (Andi Stewart, The Soup Collective, Helen Thomson, & Hera Pixie Gemini Direen of QT Cabaret) to present their responses to the exhibition theme question, Are We There Yet?

Tas Pride’s Artfully Queer Exhibition runs from the 6th to the 16th of September 2019 at the Long Gallery, Salamanca Arts Centre and is curated by Phoebe Adams.

Arts Forum is a weekly series of free public lectures held at the School of Creative Arts and Media, Hunter Street Campus, during the semester. The series provides a unique opportunity to hear local, national and international visiting artists, scholars and presenters from diverse sectors of the Creative Arts discuss their area of professional practice. All current students, prospective students, and members of the public are welcome.
