Alice IvyThe Ableton University Tour is a series of free music-making events taking place at university campuses around the world. These presentations, workshops and performances are designed to inform and inspire music makers of all levels. In Australia, three events are taking place in March 2019. The evening programmes are open to the public and early attendees will have an opportunity to get hands-on with Ableton’s Push hardware instrument (assisted by Ableton Certified Trainers) and be welcomed with snacks, refreshments and swag. Special guest artist for each event is one of Australia’s most exciting and in-demand performers; Alice Ivy. Diving into her production workflow, Alice Ivy will reveal some of the sampling techniques that she uses every day when writing music, her approach to performing live, and she’ll share some of her favourite Ableton Live features and tips and tricks, with Q&A at the end.
