Dr Arabella Teniswood-Harvey curates a concert of all-Australian music that reflects the diversity of influences on Australia's multi-cultural musical landscape, in response to Association RIdIM's conference theme of Belonging and Detachment.

With the help of staff and advanced students of the Tasmanian Con the audience experiences Australian music from the sublime solo cello music of Westlake to the modernism of Meale's Coruscations and Flynn's Torgo, the sensuality of Williams' and Gifford's music for winds to the electro-acoustic dystopia of Harvey's Kazohinia.

Does this music represent "belonging" or "detachment"? It's for the listener to decide!"
