Lilaeopsis (Apiaceae) 2:260

Lilaeopsis polyantha (formerly known as L. brownii) is a reasonably common aquatic or semi-aquatic plant with very distinctive septate leaves (they are narrow, succulent, a few cm long and appear to be segmented). It grows in marshes and  intermittently flooded tidal regions. Submerged specimens may appear as grass-like tufts of leaves connected by a pale rhizome.
