Arctotheca (Asteraceae) 2:374 |
Tasmania has
two introduced species of Arctotheca. One is the extremely
common and widespread weed species, Capeweed (A. calendula),
which has deeply lobed leaves. The other species, Coast Capeweed (A.
populifolia) is less common, and has almost entire leaves. The
phyllaries (the bracts surrounding the head) are green and fused, and
have long, sparse hairs. |
