Solenogyne (Asteraceae) 2:291
Tasmania has two native species of Solenogyne. Both are small rosette herbs of grasslands and open forests. The leaves are flat, usually with toothed margins, and can be hairy (S. gunnii) or almost hairless (S. dominii).  The flower heads with very short ray florets are distinctive.
