Three species of
Tanacetum have become naturalised in Tasmania. They
are erect, aromatic plants with pinnately divided leaves and flower heads
in compound inflorescences. The flowers lack a pappus. They are feverfew (T. parthernium),
tansy (T. vulgare) and pyrethrum
(T. cinerariifolium).
