Calendula officinalis (Asteraceae) 2:373

Calendula officinalis (Garden Marigold) is a widespread garden plant that has become naturalised in waste ground, especially in urban areas. It is a much branched herb, often about 20cm tall. It has conspicuous yellow-yellow orange flower heads and sessile, lightly hairy leaves. It is similar to C. arvensis except that the flowers are larger than than species.
