Senecio phelleus (Asteraceae) not in the Student's Flora  
Senecio phelleus is an uncommon, erect native herb resembling S. squarrosus, typically about half a metre tall. The whole plant is webby hairy and the stems are finely striated. The leaves are narrow, 7-10 cm long and coarsely  toothed. The flower heads have no ray flowers.
