Microseris (Asteraceae) 2:381 |
There are two very similar species of Microseris in Tasmania, M.
walteri and M.
lanceolata. They are best separated by characteristics of the root. These species closely resemble dandelions (Taraxacum), but the leaves of Microseris are narrower and the flowers and seeds are not beaked (i.e. they do not have a long narrow section between the body of the ovary and the pappus).
