Hyalosperma
demissum (formerly known as Helipterum demissum) is a tiny, rare native
herb found in very dry parts of Tasmania. It is hairless or with a few
hairs, grows to about 3 cm tall,
with very narrow leaves up to 6mm long. The individual flowers have a
pappus of feathery bristles, but these fall off with age. |
