Pterygopappus (Asteraceae) 2:316   Pterygopappus lawrencei is the only species in this genus, and is endemic to Tasmania. It is a very distinctive alpine cushion plant with tightly packed, blue green leaves. It is widespread in alpine areas, but most abundant in the east.
