Argyrotegium mackayi (=Euchiton argentifolius; Gnaphalium
argentifolium) is a reasonably common alpine or subalpine species,
found in the eastern mountains. It usually has solitary flower heads,
but occasionally a few occur together. It resembles Argyrotegium
fordianum, but which has groups of flower heads with the inner
phyllaries less than 5mm long. |
