| This species is
similar to the more common Kerosene Bush, O. hookeri, but
with larger leaves and flower heads. Like O. hookeri it can
be found in dry montane heaths. It is likely that O.
expansifolius is a hybrid between O. hookeri and a
species such as O. ledifolius.
