Xerochrysum
alpinum is a Tasmanian endemic formerly considered part of X. subundulatum.
It is a perennial herb to 20 cm high. The stems have minute glandular and sparse webby hairs. The leaves are crowded towards the base of the stem.
Basal leaves somewhat fleshy, to 5 cm long. X. alpinum has a relatively widespread distribution over alpine Tasmania.
