Anchusa (= Lycopsis arvensis; Boraginaceae) Not in the students Flora

Anchusa arvensis (Wild Bugloss) is naturalised in Tasmania. This species is not in the Student's Flora, but Pentaglottis sempervirens is included in the Flora as Anchusa sempervirens. It is a medium to large herb (up to perhaps 1m tall), with erect stems (at least at the ends). It is quite densely covered in stiff, spreading hairs. The leaves have recurved margins and tend to be narrower than those of Pentaglottis.
