BRUNONIACEAE
(=part of Goodeniaceae) 2:405 |
This
family contains one species that is native to Tasmania (Brunonia
australis). The blue or purple heads of flowers make this a reasonably
distinctive species, although it does superficially resemble
Asteraceae. It is a rosette plant. In Tasmania it grows in a few dry
areas in the north, but it is common and widespread on mainland
Australia.
