Claytonia
perfoliata is a small introduced herb that occurs occasionally in
wet places. It has leaves in rosettes, but these are usually lost by
the time the plant flowers. The distinctive feature is the leafy
bract that forms a plate-like ring around the stem below the
inflorescence. |
