Paronychia (Caryophyllaceae) not in students flora
Paronychia brasiliana (whitlow wort) occurs occasionally as a weed of lawns and grassy areas, especially near the coast. It is a tiny low growing herb. The awned sepals and relatively large stipules make this a reasonably obvious species.
