Ptilotus
spathulatus (Pussy Tails or Possum Tails) is a native herb of
dry places. Its furry inflorescences are unmistakable. These result
from the tepals being divided into feathery segments. Its leaves are
mostly in a basal rosette and are usually more or less spoon shaped.
It is the only species of the genus in Tasmania. |
