Colobanthus pulvinatus (Caryophyllaceae) not in the Student's Flora

Colobanthus pulvinatus (Alpine Colobanth) is a rare alpine plant in Tasmania. It forms small (typically up to about 10cm wide) dense cushions in very exposed, rocky alpine areas (fjeldmark areas), such as in the Moonlight Ridge area. The leaves have hard sharp tips.
