Cotyledon (Crassulaceae) not in the Student's Flora
One species of Cotyledon (C. orbiculata) has become naturalised in Tasmania. This is an extremely distinctive succulent species that is commonly cultivated. The leaves are large (about 4-10 cm diameter), very fleshy, almost circular and held erect. The flowers are pendulous with the petals fused forming a red tube.
