One species of Cotyledon
(C. orbiculata) has become naturalised in Tasmania.
This is an extremely distinctive succulent species that is commonly
cultivated. The leaves are large (about 4-10 cm diameter), very
fleshy, almost circular and held erect. The flowers are pendulous
with the petals fused forming a red tube. |
