Caustis (Cyperaceae) 4b:137 |
|
|
|
Tasmania has
one species of Caustis. This species, C. pentandra, is
restricted in its range to the Freycinet National Park and environs,
but is common in the heathy vegetation of this area. It has wiry,
sinuous stems that are quite frequently branched and have scale-like
leaves at the nodes. As a result it superficially resembles some
Restionaceae. |
