Cyperus (Cyperaceae) 4b:89
Tasmania has five species of Cyperus (two native, two naturalised and another possibly naturalised). They grow in marshy areas, and one species, Cyperus lucidus, is common this habitat. The leaves are basal, but the inflorescences are often surrounded by leaf-like bracts.
