Schoenus (Cyperaceae) 4b:111 Tasmania has 14 native species of Schoenus. They include both aquatic and terrestrial species, although the terrestrial species are mostly of marshy areas or wet peats. The terrestrial species are tufted and mostly have slender stems and leaves.
