Podalyria (Fabaceae) Not in the Students Flora
Podolyria sericea is a garden-escaped, erect shrub with pink-purple petals and simple, entire, alternate, obovate-oblong leaves that are strikingly silvery hairy. The pods are large and inflated. It grows in a few places at low altitudes (e.g. Lauderdale tip).
