Trifolium squamosum
(Sea Clover) is an uncommon, hairy, annual weed
that is naturalised near the north coast. The leaves
are trifoliate and on petioles 1-3 cm long and more or less hairy on
both surfaces. The leaflets are relatively narrow, widest near the
middles, 10-15 mm long. The stipules are narrow and spreading. The flowers are
pink and in sessile heads about 10mm long and wide. |
