Trifolium tomentosum
(Woolly Clover) is a common, almost hairless
herbaceous weed with trifoliate leaves. The leaves
are on long petioles. The leaflets are widest above the middle, 4-15
mm long by 2-10mm wide, have a rounded apex and are sharply toothed.
The stipules are membranous. The flowers are pink and heads about 6-12mm long and 5-8mm
wide. The name "Woolly Clover" comes from the sepals,
which are densely hairy. |
