Myriophyllum simulans

M. variifolium

Myriophyllum (milfoils) are common aquatic and semiaquatic plants. Many species have opposite leaves, which may be divided into many parts (especially for leaves growing under water). Tasmania has eight native and two introduced species. In addition, one species, M. glomeratum, is considered to be extinct.
