Blepharidophyllum is a genus leafy liverworts and in Tasmania is represented by
1 species, B. vertebrale.
B. vertebrale is an uncommon liverwort of subalpine to
alpine habitats. The overall color of plants are yellow-green to
orange-brown. The leaves are sharply keeled. The leaf apices have
two lobes, each lobe being further divided into two (a condition
known as bis-bifid). |
