Allisoniella (Cephaloziellaceae)

Allisoniella is a genus of leafy liverworts with 2 species in Tasmania.

Allisoniella spp. are uncommon in Tasmania and are usually found growing aquatically or semi-aquatically in alpine tarns. The leaves are deeply bifid to halfway and the leaf cells contain a few oil bodies per cell.

A key for the genus is being developed.
