Petalophyllum (Fossombroniaceae) |

Petalophyllum is represented by only one species,
Petalophyllum preissii in Tasmania. The rossette forming species
has distinctive lamellae (wings of tissue) on the surface of the
thallus radiating out from the centre of the rossette. Records of
Petalophyllum in Tasmania are rather recent.
