Herzogobryum is a genus of minute leafy liverworts of which
Tasmania has a single species, H. teres.
H. teres is a common and minute rock-dwelling liverwort of high
altitudes. The leaves whitish green and are tightly and closely
overlapping on the prostrate or erect shoots. The leaf margins
consist of 2-4 rows of thin-walled hyaline cells, conferring the
leaf a distinctive white margin.
