Marsupella is a genus of minute leafy liverworts of which Tasmania has a single species, M. sparsifolia.

M. sparsifolia is a rare rock-dwelling liverwort of high altitudes. The shoots of M. sparsifolia are dark red-brown to black, erect, and borne on leafless stolons. The leaves are crowded near the apex but distant at the shoot base. The cells contain grey granular oil bodies.
