Acromastigum is a genus of leafy liverworts and in Tasmania is represented by
6 species.
The shoots of Acromastigum has a Y-branching (dichotomous) pattern
like the closely related Bazzania. However, Acromastigum
is usually smaller and has two lobed leaves. The underleaves
Acromastigum are 3-lobed.
The genus includes a species (A. divaricata) previously
under the genus Mastigobryum.
A key to the Tasmanian Acromastigum is in development.
