Lasiopetalum
micranthum is an endemic species of shrub found in dry forests
along the east coast. It has long narrow leaves like the rarer L.
baueri, but the leaves have the secondary veins obviously
depressed, the sepals (the obvious petal-like structures) are narrow
and the bracts (the brown structures sometimes confused with sepals)
are not curved up (see picture).
