Warnstorfia is represented by a single species, W.
fluitans (previously Drepanocladus fluitans).
W. fluitans is a medium sized aquatic plant in seepages or
bogs.
The shoots are irregularly branched. The leaves are usually curved
(falcate) but sometimes linear. An indistinctly delimited
narrow-triangular alar cell groups is present. The leaf nerve
reaches up to about three-quarters of the leaf bt is sometimes
shorter or double.
