Chrysoblastella (Ditrichaceae)

Chrysoblastella is represented in Tasmania by a single species, C. chilensis (previously Cheilothela chilensis).

C. chilensis is a small terrestrial loose-turf forming moss. The leaves are densely covered with protuberances (papillae), thereby setting this species apart from other members of the Ditrichaceae.
