Acrocladium (Lembophyllaceae)

In Tasmania, Acrocladium is represented by a single species, Acrocladium chlamydophyllum.

A. chlamydophyllum is a common moss of disturbed areas and also occurs frequently by the side of paths through wet forests or rain forest. It is likely to be an introduced species.

The shoots are distinctively light green and have a pointed 'spearhead' tip.
